Dolgikh Regional Technological Lyceum is a new flagship educational cluster in the Moscow region. The main areas of study are IT, modern technologies and engineering.
As the main technique in the design of the wayfinding we chose elements and colors of corporate identity. White base color is used with red, blue or light blue accents.
In all wayfinding designs we used three main materials - plastic, painted MDF and film. In order to replicate the design concept as much as possible, we chose hidden fasteners for all signs.
The painting of MDF was performed observing all stages of technology - preliminary grinding of blanks, drying of each new layer of enamel in an industrial chamber.
For classroom markers we proposed to use signs with dry-erase vinyl, so that teachers could write rooms' purposes or other necessary information.
All spaces are color-coded – large endpoints are marked with light blue cantilever signs, classrooms have blue numbers and administrative spaces have black numbers.
